In addition to big hearts, we make sure our teachers possess training in early childhood education. We also invest in computers and a whole range of fun materials and activities that enhance every stage of development.

Children learn differently from adults. They need hands-on, real world experiences for true insight to occur. At the Rocking Horse Day Care Centre & Kindergarten, children learn by doing. Through play, your child's natural curiosity and love of learning are actively engaged.

French Language Program

Learning a second language is becoming increasingly important in our competitive global village. And there's no better time to learn than during childhood! We believe that in a bilingual country such as Canada, an early French education will give your child an advantage and help your child develop a skill for learning new languages.

We offer a French program, which combines learning with play, games and music. Our French teachers are selected based on their teaching background and their high command of the French Language. By the time your child is ready to go to school, he or she will have valuable language skills, which will help his or her life long learning voyage.

Music Program

Children love to sing and dance and we encourage them to sing along both in English and in French. Our music and dance teachers play the piano and teach the children to develop a sense of rhythm while having fun.

Martial Arts and Sciences

We introduce Martial Arts & Sciences to the Junior / Senior Kindergarten and the school age children throughout the year.

This program focuses on teaching and developing fundamental martial arts skills as well as promoting and assisting in building the essential qualities in children such as self-confidence, teamwork, sportsmanship, mental & physical health and relationship skills. This program is instructed by a highly qualified trainer. There is no extra charge to parents for this program.
